Two clinical freekicks from Ivan Jerkovic paved the way for Brunei DPMM’s 3-1 victory over Balestier Khalsa at the Toa Payoh Stadium, putting the Bruneians one point behind second placed Home United.
Despite trailing to a scrappy opener from Jun Jin, DPMM did not give up on their game plan, and won comfortably thanks to Jerkovic’s brace, and Abdelhamid Berguiga’s excellently taken goal.
