BUDAPEST (AFP) – Liverpool's miserable season continued as they were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage despite a 1-0 victory over Debrecen at the Ferenc Puskas Stadium here on Tuesday.
The five-time champions needed to win to stand any chance of progressing from Group E but Fiorentina's 1-0 victory at home to Lyon meant the Serie A side joined the French outfit in the knockout phase at Liverpool's expense.

Bandar Seri Begawan - A well known member of the Brunei Royal Family passed away last night.
He is Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Sura Negara Pengiran Anak Hj Muhammad Bey Muntassir bin Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak (Dr.) Kemaludin Al-Haj, who died suddenly of heart complications.
The late Pengiran Muntassir was a prominent businessman and was the local franchise partner of the Kentucky Fried Chicken which operated several outlets in Brunei. He was married to HRH Princess Hjh Jeffriah, a younger sister of His Majesty the Sultan.
He was also a prominent real estate owner and operated the Athirah Complex at mile one Jalan Tutong and other properties. He was the son of the Speaker of the Brunei Legislative Council, Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak (Dr) Kamaludin Al-Haj.
His burial ceremony took place today at 1 pm and friends and relatives were present at his residence at Baitul 'Athirah in Beribi to pay their last respects to the late YAM Pg Sura, as he was popularly known. -- Brudirect.Com News
